What our on-page SEO services involve
Our on-page SEO services improve the parts of your website you control directly: the words on each page, the way they are structured and the signals in the code that tell Google what the page is about. Done well, on-page optimisation is often the fastest way to lift rankings and click-through rates on a website that already has some visibility.
On-page SEO is everything you control on the page itself: the words, how they are structured, how the page links to the rest of your site, and the signals in the code that tell Google what the page is about.
The common mistake is treating it as a checklist of keyword placements. Google now judges whether a page actually satisfies the search. A service page that answers price, process and "why you" questions will usually outrank a thinner page with the keyword in every heading.
BizRanko's on-page work starts from intent. We look at what currently ranks for each target search, what those pages cover, and what your page is missing. Then we rewrite and restructure it, page by page. It's the part of our SEO services that most often produces the quickest gains on an established site.
Keyword mapping comes first
Before touching a page we map keywords to URLs. Each important search gets one page that is clearly the best answer on your site. This avoids two of your own pages competing for the same term, which is one of the most common reasons sites stall on page two.
The map also shows gaps: searches your customers make that no page on your site answers. Those become new pages or new sections, often handled by our content team.
What you receive
- A keyword-to-page map for your priority pages
- Rewritten titles, descriptions and headings
- Content briefs or finished copy for weak pages
- An internal linking plan
- Before-and-after tracking for every page we change
On-page SEO issues we fix most often
Duplicate or missing titles
CMS defaults often give dozens of pages the same title, which makes them hard for Google to tell apart.
One page targeting everything
A homepage stuffed with every service ranks for none of them. Separate, focused pages do better.
Thin service pages
Two paragraphs and a contact form rarely beat a competitor page that explains process, pricing factors and FAQs.
Orphan pages
Pages with no internal links pointing to them get crawled less and rank poorly.
Our on-page optimisation process, step by step
-
1
Crawl and inventory
We crawl the site and list every indexable page with its current rankings and traffic.
-
2
Intent analysis
For each priority page we study the current top results and what they cover.
-
3
Rewrite and restructure
Copy, headings, metadata and media updated, with your approval before publishing.
-
4
Track and refine
We monitor rankings and click-through rates, then adjust titles and content where needed.
Content optimisation that reads naturally
Search engines have become very good at recognising pages written for algorithms rather than people. That is why our content optimisation focuses on completeness and clarity, not keyword density. We compare your page with the results that currently rank, list the questions and subtopics they answer, and fill the gaps in plain language.
We also make each page easier to scan: short paragraphs, descriptive subheadings, tables where comparisons help and clear calls to action. Better readability tends to improve engagement, and pages that satisfy visitors are the pages Google keeps ranking. If you prefer, our writers handle the full rewrite; if your team writes in-house, we provide detailed briefs and review drafts before they go live.

What is the difference between on-page and off-page SEO?
On-page SEO covers what is on your own website: content, structure and code. Off-page SEO covers signals from elsewhere, mainly links and mentions from other sites.
Will you change the design of my pages?
Usually not. Most on-page work is content, headings, metadata and links. Where layout gets in the way, such as important text hidden in images, we will recommend changes.
Do you write the content or do we?
Either. We can write finished copy in your brand voice, or give your team detailed briefs to work from.
How quickly do on-page changes affect rankings?
Google needs to recrawl the page first, which can take days to weeks. Changes to important pages often show results within one to two months.
Do you still use keyword density?
No. We make sure the main topic and related terms are covered naturally. Repeating a keyword a set number of times does not help and can hurt readability.
